The Spiderweb of Mischief
The MacDougall children remember the ghost world spiders differently. To twins Micky and Ricky, the spiders were hilarious characters with wonderful ideas for games. "Any story with the spiders was always a big hit with us," says Micky. According to their younger sister Meg, however, the spiders were constant troublemakers who made life for the ghosts as difficult as possible. "It figures that Micky and Ricky would say the spiders are the best characters," says Meg with a laugh. "That's basically the twins' personality in spider form."

Cooper MacDougall is a writer and illustrator best known for his "Spooky Ghost" series of children's books. His work has garnered several awards, including the Meekersville Municipal Prize for Publishing and the Maltese Medal for Children's Literature (for which he had to interrupt his vacation to receive his award - his wife was completely furious).
