No two accounts of the same conversation have ever quite matched, and they were never going to start now. What one party clearly remembers saying bears only a passing resemblance to what the other is certain they heard, and both are prepared to defend their version cheerfully and indefinitely. The AZR-0 robots, it seems, have found the oldest loop in communication, the one with no exit and no winner, only the growing suspicion that someone, somewhere, must have misheard. We would blame the characters we created, but honestly, we do exactly the same thing.
