Frequent Inquiries

Every product we sell is new. While our books, like Time for Frank and His Friend, or Gadabout TM-1050 Time Machine User’s Manual are designed to look and feel like "discovered" artifacts from the mid-20th century, they are original creations by the Curio & Co. team. We like to play with make-believe.

It is the shared fictional universe where all our characters—from Frank and his Friend, the Gadabout to Spaceman Jax—reside. Our books are the physical artifacts from that world.

Yes, If you request a dedication at the moment of checkout, we’ll be happy to sign our creation!

We are an eco conscious company and our products are sustainably sourced. Our products are produced in the European Union, and all of the artwork is created the old fashion way, by hand. Though our office is not plastic free, that would impossible, for our daily operation we go out of our way to choose products that use the least amount of plastic as possible, and to produce products that, where possible, don’t used plastics.

Our work is primarily owned by collectors. If you are in our areas and would like to see our creations reach out to us and we can arrange a visit to our studio to see things first hand.

Orders & Payments

We accept a wide range of secure payment options: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and even USDC for the crypto-curious. We also offer "Buy Now, Pay Later" via Klarna and Shop Pay.

The product description will specify if you are selecting a one-of-a-kind original or a limited-run reproduction. By reproductions we mean reproduction of our original creations. Commission pieces are originals one of a kind pieces.

Shipping & Logistics

Absolutely. Every order, from a single deck of cards to a large sculpture, is shipped with a tracking number so you can follow its journey.

Ready-to-ship items (books, cards, apparel) head out in 1–2 working days. Custom commissions or wood sculptures generally ship after a 4-week creation period. We will get in contact with your prior to shipping the commission.

Absolutely. Every order, from a single deck of cards to a large sculpture, is shipped with a tracking number so you can follow its journey.

Don't panic! First, wait 24 hours (sometimes carriers scan early) and check with your neighbors. If it still hasn't appeared, let us know. We want to ensure our delivery partners are meeting our standards. You should definitely get in contact with the carrier they will have most up to date information for your package.

Whenever possible, we bundle your treasures together. However, if you order a bulky wood sculpture and a delicate t-shirt, they may arrive in separate packages to ensure both are properly protected during transit.

Returns & Damaged Items

We accept returns on books, cards, and apparel within 30 days, provided they return to us in their original, mint condition. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the client. Please note: We do not accept returns on original artwork.

We take great care in packaging, but if the unthinkable happens, please take photos of the packaging before and after opening. Contact us immediately so we can make it right. All original artwork is shipped with insurance for your peace of mind.
